Lt Col Jeff Kruse

LIEUTENANT COLONEL JEFFREY A. KRUSE
Lt Col Jeff Kruse is assigned to the National War College at National Defense University, Ft McNair, Washington DC, where he is pursuing a Master of Science degree in National Security Strategy.  The National War College is comprised of 180 hand-selected Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, and Central Intelligence Agency officers, and 41 International Fellows from allied nations around the globe. 

Lt Col Kruse is a career intelligence officer and has served in a variety of leadership positions at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.  He has commanded two squadrons, served as Deputy Director of Intelligence for Seventh Air Force, performed Legislative Liaison duties for the US Congress, and served as Special Assistant to the Commander in Chief, US Strategic Command.   Throughout his career, Lt Col Kruse has been stationed at a variety of Air Force, Army, and Navy installations around the world, and completed multiple deployments to the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility. 

Lt Col Kruse was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and is a graduate of Pettisville High School, Pettisville, Ohio.  He is married to Dr. Susie Kruse from Kent, Ohio, and has been selected for promotion to the rank of Colonel in 2008.
