
Auction Items Benefit Park
A little rain early in the evening was long forgotten by 8:30 when the Friendship Days Quilt went to the auction block. Pictured here, Charles Nafziger takes bids on the quilt made by volunteers to support the Pettisville Comminity Park.
Once again the crowd stayed late to bid on a long list of items and services donated by area businesses and community members.

Reverse Raffle Deja Vu
Hard to believe, even in a small burg like Pettisville, that the same couple could win the festival's Reverse Raffle in both 2004 and 2006- but it happened. Once again, the winning ticket was held by Kurt and Connie Nofgizer, who plan to give half of their winnings back to the community.

Dodgeball Tourney
Friendship Days first Dodgeball tournament turned out to be quite the spectator sport. The wide range of competitors ages made the competition a lot of fun to watch. Actually the "old guys" did pretty well in this game.

Fishing Derby
They were biting for the younger anglers at the park pond Saturday morning. Several catfish over 5 pounds were netted with a total catch of 39 for the day. Liver seemed to be the popular bate at this outing.

Thanks to all that attended, the many individuals and businesses that made donations and the volunteers for a successful Friendship Days.
2006 Festival Attendance
Friday night Family BBQ- 580 meals served.
Saturday, Blackbird Breakfast served 220 customers.
Saturday, Dinner at the Park fed 357.
2006 Festival Preliminary Results
Benefit Auction- Quilt sold for $5,000 to Archbold Elevator, Bill and Lynette Fricke.
Benefit Auction- Gross Receipts $16,925
Raffle- Gross Receipts $17,895
Gross Receipts for entire festival are slightly over $60,000.
